If your door uses two torsion springs, they were installed at the same time and have the same cycle wear. Replacing both avoids a second service call soon after. We will show you the wear on the second spring and let you decide.
We recommend you do not. The opener is not designed to lift the full weight of the door and can be damaged, and a door with a broken spring can drop unexpectedly.
