About

More than doors.
A stronger tomorrow.

Garage Door Corps is a new company with an old-fashioned idea: do the whole job, show your work and let the customer decide.

What we believe

Evidence before
recommendation.

Garage doors are the heaviest moving object in most homes, and the industry that services them has a trust problem. Bait-and-switch service calls, unnecessary door replacements and national call centers posing as the shop down the street have taught homeowners to brace for the upsell.

We started Garage Door Corps to be the opposite of that. A locally owned company on the east side of Columbus that inspects everything, photographs what it finds, explains it plainly, prices every option in writing and then lets you decide. That process is not a slogan. It is the whole business.

We are starting lean and starting local, in Gahanna and New Albany, so every customer gets the owner’s full attention. As we earn our reputation, we will earn the right to grow across Central Ohio.

Why “Corps”

Discipline is a service
you can feel.

Garage Door Corps was started by a founder whose military background shaped how he thinks about work: show up prepared, do the whole checklist, write it down, and never ask someone to trust you without showing them why.

That is the entire company. Clean truck, clean uniform, a full inspection every visit, photos of what we find and an honest recommendation you are free to turn down.

DisciplinedTrustworthyProfessionalLocal

Disciplined

Consistent execution. Every visit follows the same checklist, in the same order.

Trustworthy

Evidence before recommendation. If we cannot show it, we do not sell it.

Professional

Clean, capable, prepared. The truck, the uniform and the work all say the same thing.

Local

Built for Central Ohio. Real people on the east side, not a dispatch center.

What homeowners say

The word that comes up
is “showed me.”

Spring replacement
He showed me the snapped spring on his phone before he said a word about price. Three options, all written down. I picked the middle one and the door was running in under an hour.

Garage door repair
Two other companies told me I needed a new door. Garage Door Corps found a frayed cable and a bent track bracket. Fixed both. The photos made it obvious they were right.

Maintenance & tune-up
I got a written report with pictures of every part they checked, including the ones that were fine. Nobody has ever done that for me on any home repair.

Opener replacement
The opener was the problem, but he tested the door balance first to prove it. New belt-drive is silent and the app works. Clean truck, clean uniform, on time.
